Pangnirtung Fiords – Photography & Art Base Camp

The Fiord environment of the Pangnirtung/Cumberland Sound region is exceptional for photography, painting and nature study. We will spend our days exploring this lush and enchanting   tundra landscape and ocean rich in sea mammals.  Group of Seven painters, Lawren Harris and A.Y Jackson were first drawn  to Pang in the 30’s. We will travel in a large motor launch to a variety of  unique camps and also visit Auyuittuq national park. Our accommodations include Inuit homestays and  comfortable base camps in spectacular settings.
