Ski Touring

We will ski tour & explore one of the most enthralling glacial landscapes in the world. The perpetual light of an Arctic spring is one of life’s greatest pleasures. The journey begins with an 80 km snowmobile and komatik ride from the Inuit community of Pangnirtung with a local Inuit guide. When we reach the heart of Auyuittuq near the base of Mount Asgaard, we will strap on our skis and sleds to ascend some of the spectacular glaciers in the region.

We will make a few base camps during the journey which will allow us to travel on a number of days with minimal gear. Group size 6. Trip begins in Pangnirtung, Nunavut.
